Artist Bio:
James Sullivan, clarinetist, relocated to the small town of Spirit Lake, Idaho this past summer where he listens to whispers emanating from dark corners within a historic 1913 home. He performs with the Washington Idaho Symphony and teaches at the Coeur D'Alene Conservatory of Music. For many years he worked with ensembles ranging from a belly dance band to the Los Angeles Philharmonic and more, performing chamber and orchestral repertoire throughout California. He holds music degrees from Florida State University and California Institute of the Arts, but mostly learned through the practice of sitzfleisch. He offers private instruction in Idaho and also online and can be reached by email at info@jsullivanclarinet.com.
