Artist Bios:
 
YuEun Kim, Violin

Having earned her Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Seoul National University, Ms. Kim received her Artist Diploma, as a Starling Fellow on full scholarship at the USC-Thornton School of Music, under the tutelage of violinist Midori Goto.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 2013, she has won first place in USC’s Solo Bach Competition and the Strings Concerto Competition, and was a semi-finalist at the Qingdao International Violin Competition and the Michael Hill International Violin Competition. In 2018, she won second prize at the Boulder International Duo Competition with pianist Sung Chang.
YuEun’s biggest passion is chamber music, she is a founding member of the Zaffre String Quartet and has been performed at chamber music festivals around the country, including the Perlman Music Program, Yellow Barn, Banff Chamber Music Residency, Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival and collaborated with such distinguished artists as Ida Kavafian, Colin Carr, Roger Tapping, Michael Kannen and Steven Tenenbom.
YuEun has appeared as a soloist with the USC Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Irvine, LA Virtuosi, Temecula Valley Symphony and Sequoia Symphony. She has won the “Beverly Hills National Audition” and has been selected to play at “Sundays Live at LACMA”, and joined the roster at ‘Classics Alive’ management.
In 2017, YuEun undertook a project dear to her: performing Beethoven’s complete violin sonatas over three concerts, with pianist Sung Chang. She recently completed a tour in the Bay area with guitarist Ines Thome and solo recitals at LACMA and Dame Myra Hess series in Chicago.
Her 2019 season highlights include regular performances with the chamber ensemble ‘Delirium Musicum’ of which she is a founding member, solo debut at Seoul Art Center in Korea and the ‘Chopin Project’ that was inspired by her Youtube video which hit 2 million views. https://www.facebook.com/yueunkimviolin/

 
Isaac Friedhoff, piano

 
A native of Catalonia (Spain), Isaac Friedhoff has
performed extensively as a soloist and recitalist
in Europe, North and South America. He received
his  Masters from USC and his Bachelors from
 Indiana University. He is currently pursuing a
Doctorate degree at the University of Southern
California with Antoinette Perry.
As a soloist. Isaac has appeared twice with the
UC Davis  Symphony under the baton of Christian 

Baldini at the Mondavi Center (Davis, CA) and 

at Palau de la Música Catalana in his hometown 

of Barcelona. He has also performed with 

 the Vancouver Symphony (WA) under 

Salvador Brotons.

His is a winner of several Spanish piano competitions,

including 1st prize in the International Competition

“Ciutat de Carlet” (València, Spain), and has given

masterclasses as a guest artist at Classic Pianos

(Portland, OR).

Artist Bios:
A Winner of the Beverly Hills Auditions of the Consortium of Southern California Chamber Music PresentersAdriana Zoppo performs on the violin, viola, baroque violin, baroque viola, and the rarely heard viola d’amore. She has played regularly with the Santa Barbara, Pacific, and Long Beach Symphonies, Pasadena Pops, Long Beach Opera, St. Matthew Chamber Orchestra and other ensembles in the area. Director/Curator of the Glendale Noon Concerts’early music sub-series Adriana, with Ergo Musica, is heard there frequently. Previously a member of the Carmel Bach Festival and L.A. Baroque Orchestra, she plays with the original instrument ensembles Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra, L.A. Baroque Players, Bach Collegium San Diego and the Corona del Mar Baroque Festival, where she has appeared as viola d'amore soloist.  Adriana has played for motion pictures, TV shows, video games, solo artist recordings, Broadway musicals, and live shows of all musical styles from classical to jazz, and was part of the band for the musical Hamilton during its recent run in Los Angeles. Adriana holds a Bachelors degree from U.S.C. and Masters from the University of Michigan, both in violin performance.

James Sullivan explores the versatility of the clarinet and bass clarinet family in an expansive scope of styles and repertoire. Collaborations range from free improvisation with Vinnie Golia, Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du soldat with Martin Chalifour, and several years with the Brad Dutz Quartet, a jazz chamber ensemble. Based in the Los Angeles area, he honed his microtonal skills studying maqam while playing for a decade with classical Arabic ensemble Kan Zaman. His just intonation background includes premiering and recording Ben Johnston’s Parable and participating in the creation and recording of composer Andrew McIntosh’s Symmetry Etudes. Additionally, he has performed with Partch ensemble in Harry Partch’s Oedipus, where he became special friends with the Chromelodeon. Classical orchestral performance includes work with LA Phil, Pasadena Symphony, Santa Barbara Symphony, Seattle Symphony, and studio film and television recording. He has appeared as soloist on the series Jacaranda, Green Umbrella, Boston Court, and Microfest. When taking a break from music, he likes to spend the day running in the mountains of Southern California.

Karolina Naziemiec is a Polish vocalist and a violist who has been training, teaching and performing in the United States since 2001. She was granted an artistic visa on the recommendation of the American Federation of Musicians, who cited her as being “a violist of extraordinary ability.” Ms. Naziemiec earned her Masters in viola performance from USC while studying concurrently at the Henry Mancini Institute in Los Angeles.
She has performed with many orchestras in Poland, Germany, France, Belgium, Japan, and USA and participated in numerous music festivals throughout the world.
She has recorded in scoring sessions at studios such as Warner Brothers, Fox, Sony and Paramount. 
KaroliNa is also an accomplished jazz vocalist who has performed in both the United States and Poland. Her artistry and talent can be heard on two beautiful CDs, Introduction, and her latest, Songs of Hope, dedicated to the heroes of World War II. Songs of Hope is receiving wonderful reviews and acknowledgement throughout the musical world.
