Triple Shot is a jazz piano trio from Los Angeles :
Morgan Jones, piano
Scott Worthington, bass
Marcelo Bucater, drums
Their sets feature compositions by all members of the trio,
creating an eclectic mix from hard bop to swing to modern sounds.

ARTIST BIOS:
Morgan Jones received a Master's degree in music from Juilliard. Currently he chairs the Keyboard Department at the Los Angeles College of Music.
He also serves as the Music Director for American Contemporary Ballet. Some career highlights include playing with Aretha Franklin, recording "High Hopes" with Panic! at the Disco, and performing on American Idol and the Voice.
Scott Worthington is a versatile Los Angeles-based musician, acclaimed as an upright/electric bassist, composer, and improviser known for blending classical, jazz, and experimental sounds, active in contemporary music scenes, co-founding the wasteLAnd series, and serving as a professor at the University of Redlands, recognized for his innovative compositions and electronic music work. He's praised for albums like Prism, uses custom software in his electronic performances, and engineers/produces for various labels. Scott studied at the Eastman School of Music with James VanDemark and at the University of California San Diego with Mark Dresser.
Marcelo Bucater is a Brazilian drummer, percussionist, and educator based in Los Angeles, known for his work at the Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) as Drum Department Chair, his projects like Little Brazil Trio and Triple Shot, and his involvement as a voting member of the Latin Grammys. He moved to LA in 2013 for advanced studies at LACM and CalArts, blending Brazilian rhythms with jazz and performing globally, and is a member of the Recording Academy.
